That Which Has Always Been Called “God”

When it comes to “That Which Has Always Been Called ‘God,’” I go with Tao because of the complete absence of theology around the word. “Tao” is noise-free. Nothing comes to mind when someone says, “Tao.” Which leaves things wide open in which to explore the possibilities without prejudice, and without having to defend, explain, justify, excuse what we mean when we say, “Tao is the essence of life itself,” and let it go at that.

Feel free to explore similar posts of mine throughout this category of “Jesus And The Tao” for other ways of speaking about Tao, but there are no definations. No doctrine. No dogma. No theology. Just the experience of more than words can say on the order of “flow,” “current,” “drift,” “like the wind,” “like a river,” “like the ocean,” Etc. And that’s the beauty of Tao. It can be experienced but it cannot be explained. Which means it cannot be bought and sold. Only sought and sensed by companions along the Way.
