Silence is the Source

Of Direction, purpose, guidance, focus, realization, awareness, recognition, courage and “a very present help in time of trouble.”

All good things come to us in the silence as a reminder of of the foundational experience with “That Which Has Always Been Called God.”

Those who have experienced the “Transparency of Transcendence,” and tried to explain that experience with words that others could understand have always come forth with “God,” “Holy Other,” “Devine Mother/Father,” or some similar attempt to express/explain “More than words can say,” so some have said, “Tao,” and meant the same thing.

But “The experience of God is not God.” It is the experience of more than words can say. And we must leave it at that. At the Throne of Mystery beyond expression and understanding. And the source of wonder and amazement we can imagine to be the source of life and being, and lean in the silence toward “The Other whom we do not know, but cannot deny.” And Theology grows up around these experiences as collections of opinions about things that cannot be told.
