and having our way get in the way unless getting what we want and having our way mean seeing and doing what is called for and needs to be done in each situation as it arises, no matter what, all our life long.

We are here to live in the service of what is called for, here, now, all our life long. What we want must be that. Wanting anything else just gets in the way and keeps things from being as they need to be, moment to moment, day by day.
