What are we looking for? How will we know when we have found it? What’s wrong with simply squaring ourselves up with how things are? Why do we look always at what we don’t have? At what we don’t want? At what we don’t like? What would it take for things to be fine just as they are? What would have to be different for things to be fine just as they are? A river has a way but it doesn’t have to have its way, and it doesn’t strive to force its way. What is keeping us from being the river?
