At two months and a few days from my 82 birthday, I am quite content to be where I am. Clarity, tranquility peace and serenity amount to “Peaceful abiding, here, now.”

Discovering that our body is the source of theology and God is a realization that has been waiting for centuries to bubble to the surface of human reflection, and I am glad to have been around for its coming our party. We are the generation that made the connection from the experience of numinous reality, or “being slain by the spirit,” to Reformed Theology as a not quite accurate way of explaining what has been going on through the ages. Our mind finally figuring out what our body has know all along.

And now what? Tao Te Ching all the way! The Way being Tao, Psyche and Intuition and the Taoists’ wisdom from 500 BCE, or longer, offering reflection leading to realization compatible with other religious insights, makes the future an interesting place for spiritual development. And I am glad to be a part of that.
