There are people I love talking with for the pure joy of each other’s company. For the spin they can put on any subject, and the way they use words to mean more than one thing, producing twists and laughter without stealing the lime light or hogging the spotlight, but just being themselves enjoying themselves and their company. They fill an important pace in the lives of those who know them, and cannot be replaced with just anybody off the street.

There is an art to good conversation that is too often overlooked, unnoticed, unappreciated. But I look for people worth talking to, and endeavor to be such a person myself so as to hold up my end of the conversation and to be thought of as someone worth talking to.
