It is ridiculous to have opinions about things well beyond our control, or influence. At least, that is my opinion. Donald Trump, the people who voted for him and will again are not worth my attention and I am certainly not worth theirs. What matters are the things we can do something about, with, or in the service off.

The things that matter to me are: Silence. Peace. Stillness. Softness. Slowness. Gentleness. Calmness. And the company of those who have an affinity for those things.

We can think of ourselves as an association of Uncarved Blocks as we go about the business of allowing ourselves to be who we are, with minds and preferences quite our own.
