We still have to decide what’s for lunch and how best to go about life in a world like this world is.
My best advice is: “Like a cork on the water, like a leaf in the wind.”
Get the Cork and the Leaf thing down and we have it made. Nothing can touch us then. We are immune to it all. No threats, no worries, no woes. Free to go and come as we will. Zip-a-dee-do-da-zip-a-dee-ay All the way. It is the power of seeing, hearing, knowing, understanding, doing, being at one with the Tao every step of the way.
Balance and harmony, clarity, tranquility, peace and composure every day. Untouchable and fear free. Because of the power of perception and perspective.
Seeing things as they are puts things in their place, and makes everything manageable, one thing at a time.
Lao Tzu said in the Tao T Ching, “The Tao that can be said/explained/taught/etc. is not the eternal Tao.” We can experience the Tao but we cannot talk about our experience. Before the Tao, we are like a cork on the water, a leaf in the wind. And that is the place of power of perception and perspective.
Seeing, hearing, knowing, understanding things we cannot talk about because the vocabulary does not exist positions us to know what we know and to do what needs to be done about it when, where and how it needs to be done. Which is the Way of the Tao: Doing the right thing, in the right way, in the right place, at the right time. At one with the power of perception and perspective. Seeing, hearing, knowing what’s what and doing what needs to be done about it and being at one with the truth, the perception and perspective, with sets us free to do what is called for and needs to be done in each situation as it arises all our life long. Like corks on the water, like leaves in the wind. Amen.
