Do not believe in God! BE God, the way Jesus did, exhibiting the qualities and character of God in our way with life every day. The idea of believing in God in order to earn merit and the payoff of Heaven after we die is about not doing anything that would offend God. I’m turning that around here and saying it will be more meaningful if we stop worrying about offending God and start BEING God in the ways we live our life, living to exhibit the qualities and character of God in all of our exchanges with people throughout each day, exactly as Jesus did in Galilee.
