“Might Makes Right” Not!

The way of power, of the powerful, rules history to the shame of the powerful, though, to my knowledge, they have never been ashamed. And that adds to their shame. Money thinks it is the way. The way to Ghettos and wastelands.

Populations are pushed to the conquest the lands of other people by their own inability/refusal to limit themselves to what is available to them as resources for their own development. And our universal refusal to live within the legitimate limits that restrict our lives in terms of natural resources is destroying the planet with the planet’s thirst for oil and its refusal to take global warming seriously because it is “An Inconvenient Truth” that is ignored to our, not only shame, but also our eventual demise and disappearance as a civilization.

“To know no limits, to let ourselves roam free” is the theme of civilization out of control of its own desires. And we are learning–against our will–that the way of Tao is the only way of survival across the ages by doing what needs to be done in honoring and serving the right things in the right ways, at the right time, in the right place in light of the true good of all concerned.

“Right Makes Right.” And the Tao honors what is Right, here, now throughout all times and places, with no concern for what that might mean for the ambitions and aspirations of those who want what they have no business having through all times and places of life and being.
