The older I get the more reclusive I become. The less I want to be anywhere other than where I am, here, now, wherever that may be. The idea of traveling is highly unappealing. Walking to the mailbox to check the mail is as far as I want to go every day. And I like my own company, having passed the point of hosting and entertaining anyone other than family members years ago. I look forward to seeing what’s coming and what I do about it, how I respond to it, and what ideas that may generate and what realizations that may produce throughout the time left for living.
