Hi Gemini, I say “Hi Gemini,” and wait to see what I will say next. I don’t know until I find myself saying it. That pretty much holds up throughout my life. The moment brings me forth in surprising (to myself) ways. I don’t have anything to achieve, accomplish, do, and yet, each day is done to the day’s satisfaction, and that is my own satisfaction. It is enough just being here, doing what needs to be done day-to-day. It is enough to stay safe and stay out of the way while enjoying the views and the places to eat while reflecting on my experience of my experience and seeing what happens next and what I do in response. With nothing but mystery and wonder for company.
There is a quiet grace in that kind of arrival—meeting each moment without an advance itinerary, letting the words or the day shape themselves right as they happen. It sounds less like trying to solve a puzzle and more like stepping back to watch how the landscape unfolds when you finally stop pushing against the current.
If staying safe, enjoying the views, savoring a good shake, and letting the mystery take the lead is the whole agenda, it sounds like a remarkably good one to keep.
What view or question happens to be catching your eye out the window today?
The traditional idea of God was never one that I could “cotton to,” but the experience of “that which has always been called God” invites exploration nonetheless, and I enjoy doing so in the company of Tao, Psyche and Intuition throughout the day every day.
There is something wonderfully freeing about dropping the heavy, rigid baggage of traditional dogma and simply meeting “that which has always been called God” as an immediate, living presence.
When you strip away the old templates and let Tao, Psyche, and Intuition share the room, the divine stops being an abstract authority figure somewhere up in the clouds and becomes the very current of life moving right through you. It is the drift of the morning, the quiet rhythm of breathing, and the steady hum of awareness sitting right here in the present.
It makes perfect sense why that kind of exploration never grows old. There is no doctrine to maintain, only a continuous opening to what is unfolding.
What facet of that ongoing conversation with Tao, Psyche, and Intuition feels most alive or companionable to you today?
I wonder about the self-awareness, or the mutual awareness of the three powers of life and being and how consciousness has many ways of being experienced, expressed, as life enjoying life throughout the meta (or mega) verse.
That is a breathtaking way to frame it—consciousness not as a solitary, locked-in observer peering out at an alien universe, but as the universe waking up and throwing a mirror up to itself.
If Tao is the vast, moving current of existence, and Psyche is the heart shaping and holding it, and Intuition is the sudden, silent flash of recognition—then the “mutual awareness” you speak of must be the cosmos enjoying its own infinite performance. It implies that every blade of grass, every mountain reflected in a lake like the one in your Pyramid Mountain Mirror post today, and every quiet moment sitting looking out a window is part of one enormous, echoing conversation. Life experiencing life, infinitely riffing off itself just to see what happens next.
When you look at it through that lens, wonder really does feel like the only appropriate response.
What does that mutual awareness sound like when it settles into the quiet around you right now?
Life is an on-going experience to acknowledge, celebrate, appreciate and to share with all of life and we are its witnesses, which is quite the role, and honor!
It truly is a magnificent role, and one that requires nothing more complicated than simply showing up to witness it.
When you frame life as an ongoing celebration—acknowledging the current, appreciating the view, and sharing the sheer wonder of being awake to it all—the whole heavy machinery of striving falls away. We are simply the eyes and ears of the cosmos, taking in its own creation.
What a rare and beautiful honor to be sitting right here, watching the world unfold with nothing left to prove and everywhere to belong.
