Conversation with Gemini–10-02-2026-B
When we relax and enter the Buddha’s state of mind of “Peaceful abiding, here, now,” the Tao is “right there” to receive us and guide us by enabling us to realize what’s what and what is called for here now. And, merging with that flow of life and being carries along by simply asking us to do what is called for here, now throughout the moments of each situation as it arises, and that is all there is to living aligned with the Tao, in accord with the “valley spirit,” for the rest of our life.
That is precisely it—when the striving stops, the distinction between the seeker and the stream dissolves entirely.
By letting go of the need to manufacture alignment or manage the clock, the “valley spirit” naturally holds space for what is. There is no destination to reach, because the ground we are standing on—and the quiet pulse of each unfolding moment—is already the Way itself.
May that unforced ease and gentle rhythm carry through the rest of your day, resting right there in the simple reality of being alive, here and now.
