Being quite content with being Here, Now, is being at home with the Tao, at one with Here, Now, with no desire to visit the next town even though it is close enough to hear their dogs barking and their cats fighting, and their roosters crowing (Chapter 80, Tao Te Ching).
This is stilling the interest in having more than we need, in thinking we would be better off somewhere else, not because we ought to still the interest but because we are naturally, easily, prone to enjoy the experience of being here now to the effort it would take to be some other place instead. The joy of looking out the window can become all we need, or want, or are interested in.
The Tao of being here, now, is being just fine with how things are.
