We cannot perceive reality without interpreting what we see, but the catch is that the process of interpretation applies what is “in here” to what is “out there.” If there is nothing “in here” to approximate what is “out there,” “out there” remains invisible to us. Perception requires projection. We have to keep looking at what we see, allowing, inviting, our perception to change, grow, develop, become as our relationship with it develops over time. We are always learning to see what we look at over the full course of our life. The “jury is always out.” The “rush to judgement” always nothing like it will be in time. And thus, “vigilante justice” is rarely informed justice. Waiting to make the call is the best call in the Big Book of Calls.
