The Burden of Life

I am a bit more than 3 months away from stepping into my 83rd year in this world and it is my opinion that there is more wrong with this world than there is right with it. If God is going to create a world and leave it to its own devices, God has no right to condemn the world and/or those of us in it. God is God after all, and has all that foreknowledge going for him, and I say “him” because a female God would be much kinder, more gentle and caring. So I write God off as nothing more than a projection of all the theologians who made God up out of their collective imagination and condemn them all for their ideas of sin, damnation, atonement and redemption. They all deserve the hell they created for creating it. The world as it is is more than enough hell for the rest of us, and I am happy to create my own idea of what is beyond death as consisting of the wonder of being beyond consciousness with joy for no reason more than the release and relief of having done it (life, that is) and being done with it for always and forever without end.
