Everyone needs to be able to tell their stories. Except that too many of us have stories that would break our hearts if we started talking and break our listener’s hearts if they started listening. Some of us have stories too heavy for us to carry, too sad for us to say. Everyone should be able to tell their story but. That is a terrible thing to ask some people to do. Too much sorrow, sadness, pain suffering, agony and anguish, pouring over, spilling out…too much, too much… That is the kind of place this world is. It is a ghetto. A hovel. Awash in denial. And we all bear the shame of a world that cannot tell its stories. Atonement and redemption are what the world needs all right, and it gets worse by the eon through the ages. Let there be healing for everyone! For life throughout the Cosmos! How would we pull that off? Enable that to happen? We can start by being kind to everyone who comes our way. They all are carrying a heavy load.
