The River Has A Way, But Doesn’t Force It’s Way. Be The River.

One day follows another and what sets one day off from another is making our peace with nothing special and looking forward to realizations as they occur to us. With being present with what is present with us and allowing things to be just what they are, without striving for bigger, better, best and not being troubled by not having the impact we think we ought to have with our life.

Simply being what the day needs us to be is all that is ever asked of us. Showing up, paying attention, being here, now. And letting that be that. The Tao Te Ching says, “Do your work and step aside, let nature take its course.” I couldn’t have said it better myself.
