The Buddha’s declaration, “Don’t listen to me! Listen to YOU!” And Jesus’ question, “Why don’t you decide for yourselves what is right?” take us straight into the heart of the matter: We have all we need to know what’s what and what needs to be done about it in each situation as it arises. What keeps us from listening to and following the directives of the Knower within?

Tuning into ourselves and doing what we know needs to be done, when, where and how it needs to be done, is the only thing standing between how things are and how things need to be.

And if we listen to ourselves and things go from bad to worse, the way out of the mess we are in is to keep listening to ourselves to get out of the mess and into a far better place. Knowing what we know and trusting ourselves to know what we are doing will lead to being lucky if we stick to the process all the way to the heart of the Way.
