The title is the shortcut for the way of life.
SEEING:
We see what we look at. We see what’s what. What’s happening. What is called for. What needs to be done
HEARING:
We hear what we listen to. We hear what’s what. What’s being said. What is called for. What needs to be done.
KNOWING:
We know what’s what. What’s happening. What is called for. What needs to be done.
DOING:
We do what needs to be done, when, where, why, how. Doing the right thing, in the right way, at the right time, in the right place. With the gifts at our disposal: Our original nature. Our innate curiosity. Our Intrinsic intuition. Our inherent virtues (The things we do best and enjoy doing most). Our ingrained imagination. Our inborn interests.
And let that be that. After the Tao Te Ching’s recommendation, “Do your work and step aside, let nature take its course.”
This is the plan of life, put into action via emptiness, stillness, silence–one thing, not three.
