All the photos I’ve ever taken were nestled in poverty. Were surrounded by poverty. The natives called where they lived, “Poverty with a view.” And the reality has only worsened over the years. Poverty and homelessness are American ways of life. While wealth abounds. The dichotomy abounds. The fix is nonexistent. It is political and it could do better and it isn’t even making an effort. If we aren’t voting for politicians who would make an effort to reduce poverty we could do better.
