It has been my life. I was a minister in the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. for 40.5 years and have been on the quest of discovery throughout my retirement, another 15 years. I threw theology away about 3 years into the ministry with the realization, “If this is the best God can do, we will be as well off without God. And if this is not the best God can do, we will be as well off without God.” So I ditched the God of theology and took up the search for the God Before and Beyond Theology. It has been very interesting, and has led me to the threshold of Psyche, Tao, Intuition, and the foundation of life itself. Leading me to conclude that “God” and Life are One. That Which Has Always Been Called God and Life are inseparable. The experience of life is confused with the experience of God.We say “God” when it is life we are experiencing. We are life’s way, God’s way, of being conscious of themselves. Which also makes US That Which Has Always Been Called God. In finding ourselves, we discover God. In finding God we discover life discovering itself. Life is wonderful in just that way.

And here is the best part: Albert Einstein said, “Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only Transformed or Converted.” This lends itself to the interpretation/realization that life is a self-perpetuating experience of God in the eternal search for God. We are God seeking God. Forever. And the heart of that realization is laughter. It is the most wonderful realization I can imagine making. Knowing what’s what in this way is joy, laughter and dancing with life forever. And I am glad to invite you to the wonder of being alive!

Of course, there is a PS here. We are life’s way of destroying itself. War. Suicide. Donald Trump (How many human deaths are trump responsible for? And he is just getting started).

We are life unconscious of itself being God wanting to be God, pretending we are God (What Trump does best), when the entire time we ARE God, along with everyone else. And we don’t get it. We even deny it. Heaven and Hell in a single package.
