The flow of life is seeing/knowing what’s what and what is called for in each situation as it arises, responding by doing the right thing, in the right way, at the right time, in the right place, then waiting to see what’s what now and what that calls for and what needs to be done about it when, where and how, and responding to the current situation by doing the right thing, etc. with round after round of seeing, hearing, knowing, doing, being–for the joy of doing it the way it needs to be done and the satisfaction of having done it, time after time all our life long. The time between rounds is spent recovering from the past and storing up for the future, as Robert Ruark’s grandfather liked to say.
