Saying what we know is knowing what we know and it is crucial to say/know what we know because we are already forgettng what we needed to say before we started writing/saying it. This is how it works. We can say the truth but we cannot tell it because the truth cannot be told, it can only be said as an aspect of here, now, and then it must be remembered by saying it again, then, there. This is part of the playful dance of life and being. Knowing is temporary, forgetting is constant and eternal, as is remembering.
Telling/teaching is a waste of time. Nothing important can be told. Everything that matters must be experienced, seen, felt, realized, comprehended, understood, and it cannot be told. “The Tao that can be told is not the eternal Tao.” But it can be experienced. Known. And it cannot be told. And remembering is more a matter of re-experiencing. “It’s sad and it’s sweet and I knew it complete when I wore a younger man’s clothes.” (“The Piano Man”-Neil Diamond).
