The East says, “Let be what is.” The West says, “Is this the best you can do?”
Do we let child abuse be because it is? When do we say, “Yes!”? When do we say, “No,”?
When the East says “No Duality,” it doesn’t mean “No Duality.” It means “Dualities are extensions of their contaries.” Light exists because of darkness, and vice versa. Wrong exists because of Right, and vice versa. Everything exists as the contrary of its opposite. So, the East could say, “There are only dualities!”
Truth is only partially true. Truth is only true as far as it goes. At some point, Yin goes over into Yang. The truth is “Yin and Yang,” or “Yin/Yang.” “Yes and No.”
Differentness is inherent in everything. We see things because of the differentness between/among things. Everything is one in being different from everything else.
Contradiction, paradox, incongruity, anomaly, conundrum, oxymoron, etc. are inherent in life and being. How things are exist in relationship with how things also are–and THAT is how things are.
