The secret to finding our way in sync with the Tao, Psyche and Intuition is to allow our associations to carry us according to the Gnostic wisdom of “letting one book open another,” with “book” being anything that catches our eye.

Stop before the next thing that catches your eye, no matter what it is, and do the work of honoring it with your attention by noticing what comes to mind as you contemplate the person/place/thing that stopped you in mid-stride (or mid-sentence). What does it remind you of? Where does it take you in your past experience? Explore that time and place, looking for what was going on there that is connected with what is going on here, now. What stirs to life within you as you dislodge memories long-stored in the recesses of your mind. See how “Now” was “Then” and go where you are led with memories becoming questions begging for investigation, offering realization and recognition, leading to wonder and amazement, and new worlds of possibilities and inquiry, and “more than words can say.”

Our associations are Tao’s, Psyche’s, Intuition’s connection with us throughout the scope of our life, and WE become the book revealing us to us if we but take the time to examine the questions and revelations that come to life when we step aside from what we are doing and go in search of that which is calling our name.
