I am interested in the experienced phenomenon of “invisible hands” helping us through situations and circumstances beyond our ability to know what to do. When we find ourselves at the point of throwing up our hands in an “I am beyond my depth here” kind of way, what happens next? Do we sense an irrational, illogical, impulse to act that turns out to be exactly what the situation was calling for with no basis whatsoever for doing what we did? I am theorizing here that this kind of thing is an experience with Tao-Psyche-Intuition that we are genetically built to depend upon in places that are beyond our ability to cope with in a “left brain” kind of way. Our right hemisphere was in charge/control of us for a lot of years while logic was still in diapers. We felt our way through those early millennia, and still can if we get out of the way with our thinking brain and tune into what our body is saying to us in a “yes” to this and “no” to that and “maybe/whatabout that over there?” kind of way. The invisible hands are with us always to the end of the age, waiting patiently for us to avail ourselves of what they have to offer all along the way.
