Start Talking

If you want to know where you need to go, just start talking, paying particular attention to the questions that beg to be asked, and the statements that cry out to be said. Reflection is a great way to see what’s what and what needs to be said, and it all starts with sitting quietly and becoming aware of what needs to be said, here, now.

Start with an internal question, perhaps, “What question needs to be asked, here, now?” And waiting to see what comes to mind, out of nowhere, just because you took the time to create a quiet space in which to ask the question. Write it down and invite your intuition to take it from there. Do not think what to write, just start writing as though. you are taking dictation. You ARE taking dictation! Intuition is taking the lead and you are writing the words as they come. Your place is to stay out of the way and see where it goes. The more you practice the art of taking dictation, the better it will go, and you will discover that you are capable of telling yourself exactly what you need to hear–and did not know it until you started writing. We are our own guide in this way. Our own source of enlightenment and wisdom. And our intuition has been patiently waiting all this time to tell us what we need to hear/know. Listening to our intuition by giving her permission to start talking will bring us to live in ways we would never have believed or imagined if we hadn’t sat quietly asking, “What do you have to say today?” for the first time.
