A gentle path of inner listening
This site wanders through Taoist thought, depth psychology, and intuitive practice, sharing honest reflections rather than polished teachings.

Realization is the way to the Way. Inquiry is the way to Realization.
Inspection, exploration, examination, investigation, knowing what we know, doing what is called for in each situation as it arises, when, where and how it is called for is all that is needed.

Being Awake, Aware, Alive, And knowing what we Know. Is It.
Knowing what we know is knowing what we don’t know, and that leads to making inquiries, asking questions, and going where that takes us. And the game is afoot!

The Way of Things” might also be thought of as “The Way Things Are.” From the Buddha, to Wild Things, to The Wind, the way of things is the essence of reality itself throughout the Cosmos. It is how things are and how things will be throughout time and space. Raising the question, “Isn’t that just the way things are, though?” And that is the foundation of how things ought to be: Just how they are. This is the truth of Tao, Psyche and Intuition, and the truth of who we are called to be: Simply who we are. This is the purpose of life and being calling us to realize our calling and cooperate with the forces at work in our life to wake us up and bring ourselves forth in our life in a “Here I am, now what?” kind of way. The “Now What” is the exhibition of our qualities and character reflected in the things we do best and love to do most throughout the time and places of our living, for the joy of doing it and the satisfaction of having done it. The three books of this series center and focus on the work that is ours to do by consciously, deliberately, intentionally doing “us” here, now, throughout the days of our life.
The Way of the Buddha, The Way of the Wind, and The Way of Wild Things comprise the Trilogy, The Way of the Way, exploring the mystery/miracle of Tao, Psyche, Intuition which I see as the trilogy behind, at the bottom of, the Trilogy expressing, exhibiting, disclosing, revealing the foundational Trilogy at work in the Cosmos that constitutes the Way that has no end. It is a wonder and a delight to be with all that is part of the way and the joy of sharing the ride and the Way of the Way!
